At the moment, Bitexco Financial Tower is the tallest building in Saigon. We can actually see Vietnam’s global icon everyday at our balcony at home but it has been over a year since we planned visiting the place. Someone very generous gifted us 2 tickets and this morning, we finally went up to the 49th floor with 360 degree views of the city for the first time. It was only a 35-second elevator ride to get to Skydeck, JC timed it.

Just in case you might want to check out the place (this is a free ad):

Saigon Skydeck is at 36 Ho Tung Mau, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC. Adults have to pay 200,000 VND (around 10usd), children aged 4 to 12 is 130,000VND and free for children under three.  They open from 9.30am to 11.30pm from Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
