Surprise, surprise!

Today, I found out that we don’t have work on Saturday and Monday! :-) How wonderful!

Kids have been bugging me about going to the beach for the past weeks and this is the time when we can actually go to the sea. The first thing that came to mind was Mui Ne. I have only been t0 Phan Thiet once and that was about 3 years ago. We checked in the Novotel paid for by the school am working with. Apart from Novotel, I don’t know any other place.

I called up Sinh Tourist after lunch and inquired about bus details . It’s 490,000 VND for the Saturday schedule. The regular price is around 200,000 VND. They usually double the price on holidays. So this is normal.

Now, when u have a question that needs a  prompt reply, you go to Twitter. I tweeted about the transportation and my friend @mr_kimpossible replied with the info that I needed. 30 minutes later, he already got our tickets from Phuong Trang, a bus company, which is just a walk away from his office in De Tham Street. Kim is one of the most efficient people on Earth!


I consulted Google and found a hundred websites showing  the hotels in Mui Ne. That was just stressful. So I tweeted again and this time, @Vietnam720 tweeted back with the links to his personal website Vietnam720 . Ben has always been very helpful, btw.

I have called and emailed the hotel. I am now just waiting for the confirmation on the room that I requested.
