The coffee culture in Tagaytay City is H.U.G.E. This was what I found when I was in the pursuit of a traditional Filipino coffee-the barako, a rare and exotic coffee grown primarily in the Philippines (scientific name: Coffea liberica). My friend, Arlyn excitedly took me to an impressively cosy place. Sure, there were lots of coffee shops around, ranging from local to worldwide chains but the most widely-known and sought after is, of course, the garden-themed ‘Bag of Beans’.
A truly Filipino beauty and hospitality

I had a fantastic time! Quality food, excellent service, and great ambiance so I'd definitely recommend this place!
I have just found their website, click here: Bag of Beans
Oh, before you go, here’s a question to answer: What’s the best coffee place in your city/town ? I’d love to visit it one day!

masarap coffee dito at yung raisin bread … miss the tagaytay weather
ang foggy pagpunta ko nun! ang lamig di na kelangan ercon
That’s a difficult one Tara! I guess it has to be the Madeleine Cafe. Not strictly a coffee house but it wins because of the fantastic view over Dubai Fountain – and hot madeleines to accompany the coffee!
That’s great! I will go there for the view then
ohhh thats such a difficult question!! in lisbon i like versailles – stunning place! in henley on thames, UK, i like nero, which isnt that special, but slightly better than starbucks!!
I think I’ve been here on my way to Caleruega some 5 years ago.. if I’m not mistaken.. looks so cool!

It’s the tourists/ travelers’ favorite stop over.
What a cute place! And the breakfast looks delicious. You should open a place like this in VN.
