Hello, my dear friends (“,)
I’m not so sure if you’ve read this: Philippine Odyssey.
At this point, I’m still in the process of putting the ideas together, omitting some of them and working on some emails (write, read, reply, wait, read, reply). Yes, I have received a lot of replies from regional offices of Department of Tourism and some regions were very helpful, sending me file and itineraries for my island hopping.
To be quite open with you, my husband(@kingceejay) has played a huge role in my planning stage. So, what have I done for the preparation and how do I organize my thoughts for this journey?
-
I’ve printed out a calendar on an A3 paper so I can jot down my daily goals and things that I have accomplished. Writing a schedule is very important as time just slips away.
-
I have put up a cubicle with a working table and a chair plus a PC to work on. I love it though…I first sat here last night and I am feeling more focused on what I am doing.
-
I’ve also bought a large and thick notebook to pen down anything that crosses my mind while am sitting on my office, drinking my favorite coffee.
-
Of course, I’m doing a lot of reading and printing on used papers. I’ve been visiting travel sites and reading a lot of articles about traveling and writing a book. I check flight schedules too and hope for a better deal before the week ends.
-
Twitter has been very useful. Just this month, I gathered a lot of Filipino travelers on my following list. Clearly, I am not alone on my journey as they too have been traveling around the Philippines with a cause to help boost the country’s tourism. Yes, that’s actually my main goal…To make you want to visit my country (“,)
You might wanna follow these Pinoy travelers: @mindanaoan @renevicsamago @blogie @RainTravels @journeyingjames @flipnomad @Joepster

I’ve also followed Joanna Penn @thecreativepenn who tweets good materials for writing and publishing a book. Yes again, I am writing a book(“,). Thanks to @walterm for referring Ms. Penn to me.
I have never thought planning could be as exciting as this. I’ve met a lot of nice people along the way and boy, consider me lucky, I guess I am.
Guys, any suggestions, tips, advices are welcome. I would love to hear from you.
