If you had read my previous post , you would have known my dreams.
7,107 islands and I have only been to less than 10 of them.
I want to visit more places in my country. I am all excited about this and I am now on the process of planning and prepping for the journey.
When? I will announce that by the end of the month. Meanwhile, you can help me by ranking which place to visit first. If you’ve already been to the Philippines, you may drop me a message or leave me a link . I would like to hear from you. Do email me : herdailydigest@gmail.com
It would be a good start in the Underground River of Palawan, a truly natural beauty and pride of Philippines. Next is Honda Bay, it will surely increase your island list to about 20. Palawan has many places to offer, culture and tradition are well preserved and really an awesome destination.
Here’s some of my blogs, not so detailed, but I hope you find eagerness to visit Palawan =)
hey! Palawan rocks! It is actually on my top 5 list. Most of my friends recommend this place (“,) Thanks for sharing the links. I will def let you know about my travel to Palawan. Cheers!
Oh my! Seems like I’m the same with you in this situation. I haven’t explored a lot of the places in our country and will be doing so only when I come back. But let’s see what I can suggest. I particularly found haven in Albay with the view of Mayon and swimming by its neighbor province of Sorsogon. And of course, the growing beautiful beach spots on my birthplace of Batangas! It’s pleasant and peaceful there.
Hmm now I might just as well share my travel plans: Coron Islands, El Nido, Cagayan de Oro, Vigan + Sagada. That’s all I can share for now. Happy for your Philippine tour! Hope it turns out fun and exciting!
hi there Evan! Yes, I probably start from the North. I am really excited about this trip you know. Batangas? Aha! Tell me places to visit and any recommendation re accommodation too? On your trip, I can def give you tips about Cagayan de Oro City. Do lemme know when you go (“,)
Hello! I apologize for not replying right away. All I can recommend in Batangas are the beach spots, which is in par with a lot of great beaches around the country. There are two areas to choose from: the areas nearer the Tagaytay/Cavite area and the ones nearer to Quezon. The ones up north near Cavite are usually available to club owners only and/or advanced booking. We got lucky before on reserving in Lago de Oro. You can opt to swim in the pool or rent a boat to the sea, and they have an area too for wakeboarding and surfing. On the other hand, down south are the usual locations for spontaneous beach trippings. Famous is Laiya where beach resorts are side by side, with amenities from banana boat to snorkeling to boat riding.
Hope this helps! And I’m rooting for you to have the time of your life while you go on this trip.
Looks like everyone’s recommending Palawan so I’ll suggest something different: Why not visit the Tagalog region? You could cover a lot of places already: that’s Quezon (for historical places, food trip, Mt. Banahaw), Laguna (hot springs, history), Batangas (diving at Anilao, beach), Mindoro (beach and to see the Tamaraw) and Bulacan (food trip, history, spelunking).
Hi Rain. How are you? The Tagalog region would be interesting as I have never been to that area. Hope you could show me your links to those places (“,)

Google will display lots of info about different beach spots in Laiya
