I can summarize everything I have learned about friendship last week in 5 points.

We give.

One of the great things about having fantastic friends is that they always bring you something from home. For example, Kim arrived from the Philippines the earliest of Saturday with “pasalubong” such as lechon and Starbucks coffee. The gang gathered at lunch, shared foods and stories. Of course, Kim has always lots of experiences to tell, as long as he provides something to chew on, we don’t really have any problems listening to anything. LOLS.

We celebrate.

We share the GOOD news, good NEWS!!! Phil texted me last week with a drum rolling message!JC and I were really excited to hear the details. Our beloved Phil has finally received something he has been waiting and praying for AGES! He has got a promotion! Now, I can’t wait to know the plans for the future! (Phil, tuloy pa ba yung dinner?) We remember.

Birthdays are important. (‘,) We celebrated Laura’s special day at Boomarang in District 7. At long last, she’s 21! Laura was sporting her new hairstyle which made her look more fabulous. June and I handed her our tiny paper bag and we were quite happy she liked the present. (Laura, if you’re reading this, send me a photo when you wear that one! (‘,))

We update.

We text each other or when we run out of load, there’s always Facebook and Twitter to send messages to. We can squeeze in an hour of SPA in the middle of our working day or a quick coffee or dinner date just to catch up.  By the way, these are the first 2 girls (Phoejane and Jaja) who have used our guest room (friends room).

We forgive.

No matter how wonderful we are, we always have short-comings. Friends understand each other. Like when we say we’d be there and we didn’t turn up.I know it was my bad but Franco, am really sorry for not showing up on the night we supposed to meet Oanh. I did have a valid reason.
